I felt a GIANT kick this weekend. My mother was trying to get Monkey to kick her and every time she moved her hand away Monkey would kick me. So Mom would come back and jiggle my belly some more but then get bored when Monkey wouldn’t repsond. After about 15 minutes I had my hand on my belly and Monkey was all WHAM! I think Monkey was telling me to make Nana Sue knock it off!

Is it Thursday yet? My usual freaking out before an appointment has started again. And this is a HUGE appointment. It’s also scheduled for the earliest possible time ever. Like, earlier than I ever even get to work. Dan is thrilled about this, as I’m sure you can guess!

Where is this 2nd trimester energy that everyone keeps talking about? I spent all weekend in bed watching Jurassic Park on repeat.
